Question Dash Kit to match factory trim

Have any of you purchased a dash kit to augment the factory interior trim?

My '05 R/T has a gloss aluminum bezel around the nav system and hvac controls that I would like to match.

    Any Ideas?

Did your kit match up with the factory trim color?

I just want to install the pieces that I need. I want whatever I buy to match what is already on the center console.

Not going to be a perfect match but the RBA (real brushed aluminum ) might match best. Have a sample sent to you.

Just putting in what should have been there all along...

The interior on these cars is very bland.

Next I need to do something about those lower speaker panels...

    bcdavis,

You have the exact same interior scheme as mine and trimmed it out just like I would like to!! Great minds think alike!

My question is this, did you do the whole interior from one kit or did you add to the existing trim?

The reason I ask is that my dealer installed the factory nav system and when they did, they also installed a nice, gloss aluminum bezel around it. It looks great and I want to match whatever I add to it.

Veneerz.com will allow me to order samples but I am not sure what color to try. NC-SXT suggests the real brushed aluminum. I will try that although mine is a more of a gloss silver than a brushed look.

I for one did not cover any of the silver finished pieces when I did mine. Looks all good when tied together though.

I did not have the factory aluminum bezel, as my car is a 2005.
So my whole dash is from one kit.
The only things that were silver, that had to match, were the steering wheel switches.
And no, they are not an "exact" match, but most people would not notice it...

    THX BC,

Mine also is a 2005 but I just bought it as a dealer demo.

When they put in the nav, they must have used a 2006 bezel.

I ordered some samples, real brushed aluminum and chrome.

Let's see how they match up.

bcdavis, is that the same Dash Kit I've seen everywhere? EBay, Online Shops, etc. I've seen it originally for $230 or something from a shop online and then for $150 on Ebay. Is there any difference between these 2?
