Clicking Noise...heater Controls...

ok...

when i have my car to operation temperature, I get "clicking" noises coming from the dash, in the area of the heater controls....

very noticable.

but intermitment..every 15-30 secs.

I hear it too, but only when everything is set to full auto. change to manual and it goes away.

I get it as well, but it goes away it seems when everything is warm. I tinker on my way home tonight as I dont typically kep it on Auto settings.

I get that every once in a while and yes it is when it's on auto. It's usually just one or two and then it quits.

I run auto 99% of the time when the windows are up. I've never heard the clicking. But the dash gets mighty toasty. Though I think we've decided that was normal.

You guys are spoiled, my lowly SXT has manual controls.. boo boo....LOL. I did notice these little blue-ish marks towards the top of the round portion of the knobs, I am assuming is the backlighting. Is this on everyone else's? I thought maybe that there is wear starting to show, but have not had a chance to look at another one. My buddy with a R/T will be up from Cali Monday, I will look at his, but again, his has auto!
