    Badges GONE! Wash and Wax Tomorrow!!

    Finally got around to losing the rear badging and license plate frame from the dealership.

    Tomorrow I will give her a good bath and wax to really make her shine. I am also in the process of putting on a basic black power coated license plate frame, as soon as I can find replacement screws that have have a bit shallower head to fit under the screw cap covers.

    Looks good. I also took off the wiper and put on a BT wing to cover the hole.

    If I remove the wiper, what are my options for plugging that hole? I have seen one plug that was black but that didn't look so sharp on the red paint.

    Suggestions, Ideas?

    Weld it shut and paint it, looks best when it looks like it was never there.

    You could also get a Billet Tech rear wing to cover it. Click the link in my sig to my Hemi registry for some pics of it. I do like the welded and painted option as well, the wing was cheaper and it looks pretty dang good as well.

    I have thought about it, but she's an '05 and I am afraid of either bubbles but most certainly fading. After my wax just now the Rams Head is still visible due to fading :( I see it but hopefully the average joe won't.

    Mine is an 05 as well and I removed the side mouldings to find bubbles AND fading. I buffed the passenger side and it looks good. I never got to the drivers side and the bubbles seem to have shrunk and the fade is not noticable at all. Its a crap shoot.

    Go for it Mckinney, I left the HEMI emblems on the side, I might take them off later though, I havent decided.
