    Auto Up and Down Switches

I had a 300C as a rental a few weeks back and the auto down and up switch for the driver was a nice feature. Is this something that can be swapped out with the standard auto down switch or is there more to it?

And yes, I drove it like a rental.

Just a thread on this last week... no, you have to replace the switches, all the window regulators, and the FCM, and then it's hoping it works because nobody's tried it yet.

no, you need to have the door control modules and have it added to the vehicle's FCM/CCN

if it is not an option for your VIN it can't be added.

it is not simply a switch, they have different motors, control modules, etc..

the auto up feature has a safety feature built in to stop and reverse the window if it gets hung on something (like a dog's or childs head)..

you can add auto up and down via most aftermarket alarm systems though, and for all 4 windows, just remember the auto stop/reverse feature won't be there.

I figured it wouldn't be that easy and I wondered about the safety stop. Thanks for the quick answers guys and HBADGE, thanks for the quick bump.
