    another pred question

ive got a new predator on the way, also a frankentake from LMI and have suitcases replaced with magnaflows and reso's removed. what tune would you guys reccomend? also bieng fairly stock would you mess with any of the other options? timing, shifts, revs etc?
will i be able to take it from the box to the car or will i have to do some downloading first? read i might have to update the TCM or something. just wanna know how you experienced guys would go about installing a tune. sorry to have so many questions, im just anxious to start modding and would like to have a heads up ob things before it gets here.
thanks alot for all the help

Use one of the preloaded diablo tunes that come on the predator...93 CAI etc...make sure you have some decent gas (91-93 octane) in prior to doing this...then run good gas as long as you use the tune.

Install the tune/intake and enjoy...for basic mods you dont have to mess with anything really..your stock tcm will be fine.

TCM= Transmission Control Module ...it does as the name suggests, controls the transmission.

For the T-stat you will want to adjust fan settings..there should be several posts on the forums specifying where to set the fans for your particular thermostat, but off the top of my head maybe low speed fans on at 190, medium at 205, high at 210...best to verify with others who run that thermostat though...I generally prefer to keep the duty cycle of my fans down so a few degrees higher temp doesnt bother me.

Cold weather and a 180deg t stat on an otherwise stock motor may cause some check engine lights if you motor is not getting up to a high enough temp on subsequent drives.

should i just leave the stock stat in or is it reccomended changing it? defintely dont wany any CEL's. and im in MD so it does get cold.
hopefully i dont have any isses with the pred, moes performance is hard to get in contact with or get a response from. starting to think i shoulda shopped elsewhere.

I can tell you that the Magnaflow exhaust with resonators deleted will get old! The drone noise is terrible. I had the same setup for about five months, then changed to the Magnaflow catback system, which has the resonators. I also run with the MDS disabled. I have no drone at all. The MDS is the cause of the drone noise. The Magnaflow catback system has a good idle growl, but a WOT it's a beast! I enjoy stepping on it just to hear the exhaust! Drives my wife nuts!!
