    air intakes on ebay, deal or junk

    2005 2006 DODGE MAGNUM/CHARGER 3.5 3.5L COLD AIR INTAKE

    Are they junk or is it a good deal. I liked the look of the chrome cold air intake but could not find one for the sxt untill now.

    It should sound & look good but you would likely need to do the rest of your exhaust to experience any performance gains (cat back, ff cats)

    I don't really see why it wouldn't work. I had one of those on my old car and it worked just as well.

    If by junk you mean quality components, I don't have a clue. It stands to reason though, at $60 the components can't be all THAT great. But that is just speculation on my part.

    If you mean performance, again I need to say I don't know. But based on some pretty extensive testing we've done with a whole lotta intakes, there are two things that immediately jump out at me as potential problems: 1) the tube diameter and 2) the number of bends in that tube. Looks to me like there is a lot of restrictions introduced between those two elements.

    Maybe that intake is something to test at the MFO6?

    what would be the best diameter piping for an intake for the 2.7. i dont mind playing around with some pvc piping to make one, then have it made in stainless steal/aluminum whatever....

    i bought the rt version from this guy . i modded mine alittle , made a heat sheild for the filter . but overall great for the price !
