After 3 years having problem with SONAR LED Tail Lights

Does any body how to contact SONAR cant find a website. My right led tail light on the magnum is dim still light up but is dim. When I hit the brake it light up like normal. I have taken them and remounted it and it was fine. There is a obvious loose connection. I could probably just re-solder the wire to the circuit board. Any advice or experience hear. thanks.

X3 racing is the main company that deals with sonar. I think it's their import name. They used to have a nice website, but it's gone.

Well after 45 minutes on hold I gave up. I looked how there put together looks like the back peice is held on and sealed with glue to the front. I dont want to have to heat these in the oven to get the board. I am thinking of using a dremel to cut out the plastic large enough to get to the board. all the wires are visible but the whole is to small to get inside.

Does any body have a right rear broken tail light they can sale me.
I only need the circuit board inside. I have taken min apart and resolder every connection. One of the traces has bad connection and only works when its flexed. The board is white and you cant see the traces to well to diagnose.

If you heat it, you can reseal it. If you cut a hole in it, how are you going to reseal it for moisture?

After 3 years, they're not going to help you, as there's no warranty to start with. But this sucks to read, I have a 3-year-old set myself that now I need to worry about!

Well it's good that you didn't try to bake them. It doesn't work out as well as the headlights do when you bake them. The plastic housing is so cheap it starts to melt long before the glue does. Mike at FocuzTech tried it when he wanted to design a set of halos for them. I have a set also, and now after just under two years I have an LED out on the left side. Since then I have noticed that the left tail light is just a bit dimmer than the right one. I only paid 160 bux I think for them, so I guess I'll just buy another set, or paint my stock ones.

Wow! I just looked and they are down to 105 bux for a set. Not really worth messing with when they fail.

Thanks for the info. I love fixing my own problem 8 out of 10 times I'm successful in any thing that I do technical. I have put my originals on and I have to admit its a nice change, not going to worry about it now. If I buy new ones will probably try something different. Still looking for the broken tail if any one has one.
