5/16ths bolt WON'T COME OFF!!! GRRR!

I just got my black headlights from 1sckmgnm and they look great! I went to do the removal of my stock lights and I can NOT get the bottom bolts out. For the sake of my bumper and blood pressure, I had to stop. I'd hate to think that I might have to remove the whole fascia to get to it, but I could really use a solution... thanks in advance.

Removing, or at least loosening the fascia has been a vital step in every walkthough of this that I've seen.

I have a question for you guys. I have the black headlights, and have been thinking about going ahead and trading for the RT chrome ones as I think they'd look better on my Grey Magnum, but what about headlight adjustment. Has anyone had to adjust the headlights after the swap or are the spot-on every time?

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

Caution: use this tip at your own risk. Just a little tip, when I have a bolt that is seized I do the complete opposite. I for the physics of why it works but if you can't get a bolt loose the trick is to try to tighten it. Just put enough pressure to crack it loose. A quick bit of pressure clockwise then it comes right out. I don't know what it's bolted into, if it's bolted in plastic don't do this, but if it's metal it should do the trick. I work on machines for a living and this has rarely failed to do the trick. Just my 2 cents.

OK, I took a break, thought it over, and bought a longer TORX (6-point star bit) screwdriver rather than try to use a "wrench". Anyway, it still took a LOT of power to undo that screw, but I got it. After undoing the screws, the assembly easily came out slightly forward and to the side of the car. Disconnecting and reconnecting the new lights was a snap (literally).

The bottom screws were even hard to put back in, what a hassle, I'm never removing those again, I swear... If there had been a second person to help, I think it would have gone smoother, but ultimately I got it all in and looking great. Black lights + black car = amazing. I'm going to bed now... thanks to all.

me and snickle had a problem with that too! what we did will put a wrench around the screw driver for more leverage and he held it in place while I push down, it took two of us, but what got it loose!
