06' Charger RT exhaust fit on Magnum?

So I finally have someone somewhat local with an exhaust, but not sure it will fit. Exhaust is from a 2006 Charger R/T, I have a 2007 Magnum SXT. I know to convert to R/T exhausts I will need a hanger etc. but not sure the piping is the same fit etc? I have no issue if its just a matter of extending the pipes a bit due to wheelbase differences (if there is any?). Thanks.

several members have done this mod. pretty sure pipes are different diameter.
hopefully Zoban will chime in. he's done it and it seems to work quite well.

I know there were a lot of R/T swaps, and yes they do require either a reducer or pipe expander for stock pipe. But I just wasn't thinking if the ones I read used Charger systems or just the Magnum RT systems.

I hope its the same. Will make for a nice check-off on the mod list

yes, charger & magnum have the same exhaust.

Will fit no problem at all.. just need the reducer/expanders from 2.25 OD to 2.5 ID the two rear driver side hangers and rubbers and of course the eybrow cutout kit..

The reducers get from any local auto supply

The rest get from your local dealer or shoot AdamC a PM for the LXforum price and shipping..

Ran an RT R/T off a Magnum on the wife's 3.5 Charger for awhile and it sounded great with no fit issues (exact reverse of what you asked but same fit) Only replaced it with the 5.7 JBA due to the wicked deal I got on it and instant resale of the RT R/T the second it was off the Charger (Went onto a 3.5 Magnum).

The 5.7 Corsa that is on my Magnum was originally installed on a Charger RT as well to further the an LX is an LX is an LX ..

Chally Exhaust are different story since they are an LC
