    You won't believe this.....

I decided that waiting until December for my Magnum isn't going to happen, so I've been looking around, and on Friday, I should be the new owner of a new Magnum R/T.

Now, here's the part you aren't going to believe:
I'm getting my Magnum R/T with the following features:, Sunroof, Midnight Blue Paint, and UConnect. After reading that those features were on back ORDER or whatever the wait was, I thought I'd never find a car with some of these features, nevermind all of them. Wish me luck! I have a 4 hour drive to go get this thing!

Excellent! Mine is being built right now and it's Midnight Blue with a sunroof also. No delay for me either. It will be fun driving it back 4 hours also.

It will be really fun to drive it back! That will be 250 miles of my break-in period. I'm excited that I'm getting a car that statistically shouldn't exist yet Ironically, I have to drive back up to the same place 2 weeks later to pay off a speeding ticket I got in March. I'll definitely be driving slow until I hit the state line!!!

I'll be taking my camera with me, so with any luck, I'll have some pix up on the net on either Friday night, or by Sunday at the latest.

I can't wait to have the car and to really be able to contribute to this board. I have learned so much FROM all of you, and I'd love to be able to help others.

The first thing I want to do is find an aftermarket aluminum piece for the center stack, and then I'm going to wire it for my radar detector.....definitely need one of those!

That's probably in my future. As of now, I have a Bel Vector 990 (or something like that) I got it 2 years ago, and had it recently programmed to see the latest frequencies. After buying this car, I'll be officially broke. I just had to buy a furnace, dishwasher, and termite removal, and spent over $1000 on dental and optical visits....all in one month! That's also why I pushed up my buying plan.....my current car didn't like it when I took it deer hunting and I've put $4500 INTO it over the last 5 months.

It pays to do some research, and to be willing to travel. The others good news is that you should not need to spend money on any of those things for years.

    Blue RT

I was going to ORDER my new Magnum but found a Blue RT with Auto Climate, Sunroof and Uconnect on the lot, only RT they had for June.. Bought it and drove it home.. No waiting. I got a Sirrus raido and Roof rack that I did not want but an extra $500 and no waiting was good to me...

I've had my car for just over a week now and I'm over 1200 miles. The car is quick....I've been able to chirp and squeal a bit without really trying. No tickets so far, even though I have to go pay off a ticket in Michigan that I got in my Stratus. As far as the right pull goes, if I let go of the wheel, there is a very slight pull to the right. Its one of those things that I wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been brought up on these boards. My friend has a Nissan Z, and we're talking about going to the strip when we can get our schedules to lineup. I'm going to need some practice because it's been over 10 years since I've owned a car with an automatic tranny.
