They're "H10"; good luck finding a kit for them. "E55 AMG" here has swapped in Nokya Artic White Pro Halogen (on his 300C and RT) and is happy with them, IIRC.

H10's for 29.95 Xenon Arctic White.

Actually, that is a planned upgrade in the near future. Have not changed them yet.Originally Posted by AndyK

Just how quickly do they burn out??? The way that site is written it sounds like you'll be swapping them out 2 or 3 times a year...

from the description on the site, they sound like cheap crap bulbs... that look good for a short time while they work...
you might be able to get better life out of you fog lights by sp[raying them with clear insulating spray after you assemble them....(keeps the water out)
when I put my HID INTO the magnum... I was wondering what to do with the spare driving bulbs... 9006 is the part number I think. Then I discovered that the driving bulbs will fit INTO the fog lamp housing.. The only difference is that the fog lamps are 45watt and the driving bulbs are 60 watt. So if you want to go overboard, get some Phillips silverstarr bulbs ad drip them right in!.

good question. The GA and length is about the same as the wiring harness for the low beam lights. So yes its fine. Infact i expected to blow a fuse with the higher inrush that the 60 watt lights draw, but so far all is well. I have about 2k miles with no problems as of yet.Originally Posted by HammerFoot
To be honest my real consern with a higher power light would be the heat. The fog lamp housing is smaller than the driving lights and it is sealed. IN THEORY you could run the 60 watt lights, during the daytime, in the summer, shower the FOG lamp housing with rocks, for 12 hours straight, and you might get a crack.
but in normal driving im not stressed. I actually left them on for over an hour once (i was drinking and forgot :-) ) in the garage. The plastic fog housing was warm to the touch but still had its structrual intergerty.
just my 2 cts

I upgraded my fogs to standard 55watt halogen with no problems, 25k miles with stock wiring etc... they usually design a tolerance in wiring, unlike freakin vacuum makers who use the smallest gauage wiring the UL will permit, thereby giving you a warm wire after operating for 15 minutes.
well I installed a H10 6000K McCulloch kit without any issues.Originally Posted by Fred

If you go over too many watts in the fog light it will melt the inside of the housing. Take it from me I learned the hard way. I used that new P.I.A.A GT-X bulb 55w=110w not thinking Chrysler would make the damn fog housing all plastic.![]()

I also have 6000K H10 HID setup on my fogs and they are great. They run cooler than halogens because of less wattage.
I thought that the fogs were 9005..........maybe not
