Well, I bought a Hemi!

But it's not a 300C, nor a Magnum RT.

After frustration with local dealerships about using my corporate discount, lack of availability of the 300C and not wanting to wait 12 weeks for an ORDER to come in, I decided to go with my second choice of vehicle - a Hemi Dodge Durango Limited.

All I can say is, I know I didn't make a bad choice, this vehicle is NICE. If they ever catch on, they'll sell like crazy, they're just that much better than anything Chrysler has put out in the past 8 years. It's a choice I know I won't regret!

I will definitely be sticking around the boards here! You guys have some good info and I'm still a die-hard Chrysler/MB fan so hopefully you guys won't mind a Durango-owning lurker posting around on your LX boards :D Besides, when the Charger hits the streets, that might just REPLACE the fiancee's Honda Civic!

I'm not an SUV fan, but after driving the last generation Durango on a vacation to Alaska, I was very impressed. My understanding is they fixed my only gripe about the Durango with this new version - the solid rear axle suspension. It made the rear end hop around on rutted dirt roads.

Sure, I don't mind HAVING a Durango owner on the forum! As long as you stay Mopar, we're fine with that.

Post some pictures of her, we would love to see it.

Heh, I'm assuming that link worked? I've never been too up on the picture posting thing, and if this worked, then I'm gonna have a helluva lot of fun with my digital camera!

By the way, those pics are about 15 minutes old!
