all cars get faster once they are broken in, I know I notice a huge difference now with 2k miles on mine, it definatly has more power.

Not too bad considering the E500 does 0-60 in about 5.7 seconds. The car will break in a little with time.

From DodgeIntrepid.net: "...Do not type all in caps unless you have a reason too. Caps are reserved to express volume or anger. It is flat out hard to read and can easily get on people's nerves. Do not capitalize the first letter of every word in a sentence as it is also extremely hard to read (This Is Really Annoying To Read, SO IS THIS, SO DON'T DO IT!!!!)..."

If I understand correctly, you beat the hell out of the car just 3 hours after HAVING driven off FROM the dealer's lot

You sure should have a wait longer to put some mileage on it before doing this, both for performance reasons and also for durability reasons. It will certainly improve as it gets broken. But a E500 is still no small opponent.

    Tzar007,
Can't wait for you to stop thinking about buying amgnum and actually buy one. I guarantee you, you cannot wait for more than 3 hours to flog the beast! It is so damn seductive dude!

I ran mine up to the red line lots of times but never FROM a stand still. I was always doing about 20 or so before I stomped on it. Heck, I never stopped doing this. Maybe that is why I don't get very good gas milage.

Yeah I know, I test drove a Magnum RT yesterday morning, and I am a convert :D (see thread here: http://www.dodgemagnum.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2287 )

Now it's only a matter of getting some more cash down or better trade-in value for my car. But I don't expect to buy one until next spring (I am really tough on myself, don't you think so ).

I am in Canada and by the time I would get the Magnum, I would drove it off the dealer's lot in snow, sleet and all that s**t we got over the border up north. It's sickening to get a spanking brand new car in winter here, better wait for the spring and then enjoy it all summer and fall :D
