VIN and VON Numbers and Dealer Codes

I just got my VON number today. Does anyone know how long it will be before I get a VIN? I couldn't track the vehicle on the website with the VON. Any help would be appreciated. Also does anyone know what "priority code : 99 " and "order status : BA " mean that are on my printout FROM the dealer? THANKS

There's really no telling. FROM what my dealer has told me (and I believe this) the Brampton plant does all it's scheduling in the first half of the month (May it was between the 1st and 12th). This scheduling is actually for the next month (May they schedule June etc.). When your vehicle is scheduled you will get your VIN, and until it's scheduled all you can do is trust your dealer and the 800 number to give you information, but don't expect much.

So be patient, if you're lucky you'll have a VIN in the first two weeks of June for a late July early August Delivery. But if you want an example of how long it could take... I ordered my 300C on April 20th and haven't been scheduled to be built yet.

I ordered my Magnum in early May and still don't have a VIN. I called the 800 number and was told to CHECK back early next week, that I should have a VIN by then and that my car should be built sometime in July. We will see.

My VON # is : 13160079. Any help would be appreciated. The dealer says I should have the car in a couple of days but I know that that is very far FROM the truth. Thanks.

my original VON was 13118762, I asked the dealer if they could add the heated seats (wifes request), He cancelled my ORDER & reordered. This is 2 weeks later. My new VON is 13159739. If I had known he was going to cancel my original ORDER I would not have approved the change. I would have said forget it. 40k orders later I'm screwed. I wonder how many LX orders happened FROM May 19th to May 28th. Can anyone find out?

I checked all 3 VON's that have been posted by you guys, and I got nothing. I'm not sure if that is because they are not in the system, or the dealer code that I used to CHECK them with dosen't match up with the VON. The dealer code that I have is for the Chrysler Marshalling Center (where all Chrysler employees have company cars delivered to), so maybe that's the problem

What are you using to CHECK them? The VinVision or something else? They won't SHOW up in VinVision until they are in D1 (scheduled to be built), and you could see them in VinVision regardless of the dealer code at that point.

Trust your dealers, there isn't anything else that you can really do.

I just got off of the phone with my dealer and he is as clueless as I am. He has no idea when the car will be built but said that mid-August would be a good guess as to delivery date. I asked him to call someone and find out. Mine was ordered on 5/14 and is dark grey with no sunroof. I would have hoped to get a June build but it sure doesn't look that way. Too bad.

Update FROM my dealer. He called to say that there has been an "edit" to my ORDER as of today and that that the RT is now "in line." I called the (800) and they still do not have a VIN number but told be to call back "in a couple of days." I'm not sure what this all means but it certainly isn't BAD news.
