    Trackin' the train

Patience, patience, patience. It's on the train and crossing Iowa heading for Nor Cal.
It's kind of neet to be able to track the updates on the train progress daily, but I sure wish they'd throw a little more coal on the fire.
    Silver 300C, loaded
    Ordered 27 Apr
    Built 20 May

    SilverC,

What are you using to track it? The insight site?

The Insight directions are posted in the How-To on this net.
I was rather suprised that they are tracking as much "real-time" info.
When I ordered my 300M back in 98 I tracked the rail car by number on the RR sites.

You know, that's funny. Chris (E8502) wrote the text for that page and I created the coding for it, yet I've never had a use for tracking! :P

So does anyone know what "Current Carrier Can Put On Hold 05-25-04 06:03 PM CDT 2050 Db5 " means? That's the stage mine is at.

Yeah, pretty cool way to use that system. Once the DATA for your vehicle is up, you can get to the trackin screen with the codes.
