Test Drove - Magnum R/T - I'm Jealous

A couple of days ago I heard a co-worker of mine drove a Magnum. I've been meaning to ask him about it but I haven't had the chance to until today. I didn't get to discuss it that much with him since he had to run off to a meeting.

It turns out the Magnum he drove was a Magnum R/T (he said it had the HEMI in it). As soon as I asked him about it a big grin appeared on his face. He said it's just like driving a hot rod. It has a hot rod type feel on the interior and it has the chop top appearance (something we already knew ). He said it gave him butterfiles and when you get on it, it goes.

I wish I was able to ask him a couple of more questions, but he was off to a meeting. I'm not sure why he was driving it, but I have a good idea. I'm going to have to go over and see if we have it in the garage. If so, I will have to con someone to let me drive it. It's a long shot, but what the hey.

I am so jealous.

Later in the day I walked by him in the hall and told him that I'm still jealous. All he did was laugh and said that was awesome.

Damn I wish I could afford one right now. Oh well. Hopefull next year. Plus, I want to wait to see how the Charger pans out.

$30K is not cheap, but after checking out the auto show,
that is a DROP in the bucket compared to most MSRPs now.
