    I would like to thank 1fst4dr for the motivation and guidance through my install.

    Replace the alternator with ease with all his help.

    I got it all done. Installed and running good.

    Sorry if I hurt your feelings but just sharing my 0.2 Would have felt bad if you dropped the car on your head and killed yourself. But im glad I was able to modivate you and it got done..

    Now,if you need any help with all those red beans there let me know. Im sure I can come up with something...

    Id ask you to prove "270 amps" but Im afraid it would be way over your head.

    And because I feel like saying it, thats one of the most ugly, hillbilly setups Ive seen in awhile. It may sound decent, but no way Id show that to anyone. Good to hear you managed to install the alternator yourself.

    I am absolutly positive that those batteries can deliver 270amps, and the 4/0 can do it also, for a short time.

    Where did you order your alt from?
    Looks good imo. Only thing I would change is get rid of them optimas. They gone down hill since the new company took over, using recycled materials inside and everything. I've seen alot of them go bad within less than a year in the car audio field.

    I have no idea what's going on here. All I can assume is that you installed extra batteries and an alternator to power your subs?
