    Squealing tranny

I have an 06 RT with ony 4800 miles on it. recently the tranny makes a sqealing sound at cruise speeds. it only occurs when the throttle is about 10-25% open. i have no idea what is causing this and looks like when i take it in to the dealer for service ona few other minor things i will have to ask about this sqeal. It's just annoying that i spent so much on a nice car and now it sounds like a pice of crap, not a throaty HEMI powered magnum.

Never heard this one before, why would the tranny squeal? are you sure it's not the axle gears or the wheel bearings? or your alternator dying?
In any case keep us posted.

    from this TSB:
    the customer may experience a
transmission shudder vibration and/or an audible high frequency buzz-like sound.

Did you drive it a lot in the rain?
If yes, then you got water in, read TSB, it's gonna be a b*tch to flush it, dealer work only.
This could have been prevented though if the base of the filler tube had been sealed (did mine with silicone) Transmission servicing

    yup,
Wish I'd seen that post before. it's leaking now. I found transmission fluid on the floor of the garage yesterday. I'll be taking it in on Tuesday. What should I expect from the dealership?

That's a real knee slapper..... when went to pick up the car the detail job they did looked like the first time i washed my bike in 4th grade, and i didn't use any water. hope that they can fis my new $40k car better than the monkeys in the detail shop can wash a car, it is a 5 star dealership, so i guess that means that i get a rental. I'll let you know how it works out.

Any one else have any words of wisdom?

If the tranny is leaking, it will make it easier to put it in, the plug that is

so, i took it in yesterday. they have fixed the leak, set my daytime running lights and they also replaced the regulator on the back left window b/c it was working intermittently.

they are also giving me 3 new tire b/c they were square. they could not balance them so i get new Conties.

overall very satisfied with the service. they were very receptive to my concerns, now we just have to see how goo the fixes really were. I'll keep you all posted.
