    Spartan Cam!!

    I want get a spartan cam installed, i live in san diego..any suggestions on where to do this? the closer the better

    If you buy the plane ticket, I'm sure elcobra44 or 04hemipwr would come do the install for you. Their rates are so much cheaper than any shop you will go to even with the cost of a plane ticket.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember reading somewhere.....that there is a Cam out there that you can use stock rods and springs (on a 5.7). If so, which cam is it?

    From what I've read the comp 260 cam will work on stock springs. You might as well change the rods, they only cost about $20. The advantage of sticking with stock springs is that you save on install cost because you don't have to pull the heads. But you might get some valve float.
