    Question Spark plugs.

Is it 30K our plugs need to be changed at? If so, has anybody done it themselves? I've heard the dealer wants way too much to change them out. Do we have Champion plugs? Anything better? Thanks. I'm nearing 30K as we type.

Well if heads and cam are in your future, I wouldn't sweat this one. I'm running NGK's. But the install is a slam dunk. Just remove the coil packs (two screws each) and get your self a 3" extension and your in business.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.

The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

I did the stock plugs. Which are champions.

It really is a simple install. There is a thread by BrilliantBlackHemi on how to install. Dealer will charge $250+ It will cost you $60 for parts. You decide.

When we change heads, we'll be doing the plugs.............I prefer autolites.

We can simply add to your bill if you like and buy them here in Houston.

When we change the heads we'll put them in and index.

    Nope..............it wouldn't be a big deal if this thing didn't take 16 plugs and depending on plugs $5 - $8 a plug!

Has anyone tried the Bosch Platinum+4 plugs? I had a set in my 5.2 Durango and they had 95K miles on them when I traded it for my Hemi Charger.

I' not a huge fan of them..........I feel when you put all those back-straps on a plug you schroud the "mushroom" firing of the plug...............I actually think its a bad design.............all marketing IMO.

yeah, they kinda went about it the wrong way, covering up the kernel....the brisk plugs use a similar multi spark method, but a totally different approach to the whole thing, much better design.
