Sorry if this is lazy, but...

What is the best oil filter to use in the 300c 5.7 I have the dealer do my oil changes and I use Mobil 1 5w/20 sunthetic, but I don't know what filter they use. I need to get a filter for some outside work I'm having done, and I want to get the best one.

    Thanks

    Chas'

I use the mopar one, available at Walmart for $4. Is it the best? Probably not, but if your using synthetic oil and changing it regularly, like 5,000 miles, your fine.

Chas I use the Mopar filter from Walmart. When you change your oil once a month every dollar counts

Some time ago in a galaxy far far away, someone did a filter test. They cut up a bunch and evaluated them. I think that the Mopar were to be discovered to be made by WIX and FRAM was one of the worst constructed. I noticed the WALMART here has gone from about 5 different models to only the one we use. Payday I going to but about 5 of them to stock up, cheaper than the dealer here.
