Smoking the tires on my Magnum

I wanted everyone to know that I can now light my tires up for 10 to 20 feet...

I was one of the people complaing when I got my RT that I could not even get a chirp out of the tires..
Now, with 5000 miles on it, it will break them free in a straight line for a while...

I would say in the last month or so I have been feeling a little more pull, but when I punched it it would just chirp, so I turned off the traction control and tried and they just spunnnnnnnnnnn....

I still want a new ratio rear in the car for more low end but I really want to make my highway cruising RPM higher up the band, 1700 at 60 is not cutting it.. needs to be like 2500 so it will not kick out of lock out every time I touch the petal.......

I have almost 6k on my RT and I do feal a difference after I hit 5k. I try not to do burn outs because, well for every 1 rotation of the tire while spinning you loose 100 miles of tread. Though I was doing about 10 mph going around a turn at a red light and hit it. It churped INTO second gear.

100 miles for every time the tire spins once......

I hate these tires so much I should just power brake it for 30K miles worth....LOL

If I keep it, the tires are going, they suck!!!

I'm thinking about putting on the BF Goodrich Z rated tires. I wonder if our dealership will remove the speed limiter?

I just saw the 10 page post on the 7000 miles wake up.. I never saw it..

I think people with Magnums care, people who wish they had one and drive PONTIAC's or Neons complain about it..

Not sure, guess it is in my head, I get a car and it will not even chirp the tires, now it will spin them.. I guess the City of Chesapeake repaved every road here while I was sleeping so I think my car had more power now...

What do you mean people that drive Pontiacs complain about it? I drive Pontiacs and love them. I also have a MagnumRT and it broke the tires loose when it shifted INTO third gear the other day. I guess when I hit the 7000 mile wakeup mine will really fly. I can't wait. Haven't got around to it yet but I want to try that accelerator pedal recalibration.

3rd gear?? Please...put down the crack pipe. Theres no way a stock RT will break the tires loose INTO 3rd unless its wet or...****..or nothing. It does not have the proper power,gearing or shifting to even think of the idea in stock form. I was driving today thinking to myself how awful and soft the shifts were just going to 2nd....to think of 3rd...you smoked your friday paycheck away before posting....
