Recalibrating MDS with the B&G Flash

I have had the B&G flash now since wed. I can say for a fact that MDS has not been activated since then.

I had disconnected the batteries to install the PCM and I understand that the MDS needs to be recalibrated but I was wondering if the process was any different with this mod.

i am getting 12.5 city. it is terrible.

MDS doesnt really need recalibration anymore... a WOT or two will get that done for ya.

if it isn't working, that means it was disabled in the flash...

    UnderTaker,
I have never gotten 12.5 with either Magnum I have owned. With the stock RWD it was 12.2-12.3 and with the AWD it is always in the 11s?

My head would explode if I got that low mileage. I should know, it almost did when I got the car. Plugs, wires and an air filter brought it up to where it is now which isn't much better at 16-17mpg. I'm still looking for answers.

Are you sure your MDS isn't coming on? Do you have the MDS light mod?

Did you request them to enable MDS? The standard tune disables it, unless you request it to be left on.....

I'm sure it has to do with the fact I had not taken it out on the highway until tonight (after bat. disconnect) - it has bumped up to 14 average now.

    Good to know.

I did leave the MDS option on the flash, It came on 3 times today... I know when it is working by the pitch shift in the exhaust tone.
