Rear hatch

My car is only a week old and the rear hatch wont open when I press the release button. I have to crawl in and release it manually. FROM the looks of things, the solenoid isn't moving far enough to release the hatch. I am taking it in to the dealer on Tuesday to get it fixed.

I know that this reply won't help you but others. This is the first time I went to buy a car so loaded with information on what I need to look for (right pull, Nav CD version, passenger seat stops, etc)

I spent over an hour making sure EVERYTHING worked and was right - and I did this before I put ink on anything.

The only items that I found were the right pull and the Nav CD was one rev old. But, boy did I look over the car.
