    Put on my Magnaflow Catback

Well initial reaction is, it is very quiet, the exhaust output of my stock R&T catback was damn near just as loud at WOT. About the only noticeable difference is in tone, definitely deeper, intially the car felt like a dog for the first couple of WOT runs, after 10 or so it seemed to get it's getty up back.

I don't know not quite what I expected, hardly noticeable at idle, I wanted something without drone but I guess I wasn't expecting a aftermarket catback to be so mellow. It does sound very nice but just very quiet.

It will mellow out some as it ages I'm quite sure and the jba shorties will most definately change things too.

Get rid of the resonators. I have 2.5" piping all the way back with 40 series flows w/out the resonators and it roars when I nail it. Noticable difference in power as well.

I felt the same way when I installed my Magnaflow. After a couple of months, I couldn't take it any more, so I brought it down to my local muffler shop and had them replace the muffler with a Magnaflow crossover pipe. Now it is just right.....

I was disappointed with mine too.. until I got the mods. Now it's loud as hell. One time at the dealer, I asked the guy I bought my Rubicon from if he heard me leave, the last time I had been there. He told me he was in the bathroom and he still heard me. I was getting on it a bit.
