power supply for predator

Does anyone know the volt and amps output on the power supply for the predator?

12v 1000mA as I recall will work fine. I use a Radio Shack unit. I dont recall the tip Letter off hand though.

Look in the HHP vendor area, it was talked about in depth in the Predator Group buy thread.

12V, 1 amp is what it comes with. You can prob get away with less amperage just fine. Get a universal one from Radio Shack and it should have the right tip.

I did try one with 500mA and it did not light up.

I got mine from RadioShack too. 12V 1000ma/1a.

Be careful W/the tip adaptor as it can be plugged in as reverse polarity.

There is an index mark, but it is not "keyed". It is also prone to coming loose in the box during storage.

I covered mine W/shrink tube. That keeps it secued.
