    P1028 code?

    Hey guys,

This morning I got a CEL with a P1028 code. Ive searched and found two different answers. One was that its related to the t-stat (possibly the car didnt warm up fat enough), the other said it means "ECU did not recognize WOT"

I have a 170 t-stat in my car, and for the last week its been way colder then today out with no problems.......today it was in the low 70s and that came on...........on the other hand, it happend right after a quick WOT burst

Any ideas on which it might be?

Mine gets that if I'm in Drive and go over 4000 RPM before it gets to about 173*f. I have to keep it in 4th or 5th if I'm passing traffic
I've monitered the EVIC numerous times to check temps vs. rpms.
    I hate it.

New Info. This morning the dang light came on at 60mph/1800RPM. Engine temp per EVIC was 163*f. Don't think I could drive any more careful as I was in gas mileage mode just putting along. Hate to see what winter brings.
