Options for firming up gear shifts on a 5.7?

OK, I am trying to figure out what my options are regarding firming up shifts at WOT on my RT. At the track I am currently using the superchips performance tranny setting with the raised shift points (to complement the sidewinder cam). When I run, I put auto-stick in first and let the car upshift on its' own. This car actually feels like it is pausing between shifts and I know it's costing me time. Other than at WOT she shifts fine.
The option I choose will have to factor in I may go with a higher stall converter in the near future (gotta drop that damned 60')! The following are the options I am aware of:

    - MOPAR TCM - (I believe it can't be run without the MOPAR PCM and the car must be flashed at the dealer upon install)

    - HHP Stage 1 TCM - Must be flashed at the dealer upon install.

    - B&G - I believe they program TCM's but not sure if they can be done stand alone or in conjunction with their PCM flash. I also don't know if you can drop it in and go or do you need to go to the dealer.

General - I believe with the MOPAR TCM and HHP Stage 1, you need to remove the Superchips tune prior to install and re-install once the dealer has flashed the computer.

    Thoughts?

LOL . .I just put in the NO-ESP mod today so I can finally warm up the drag radials properly and now I am working to weed out the weak spots one at a time!

Can be used with B&G also or anything to raise the rev limiter because it just needs to have the rev limiter raised so the raised shiftpoints will work. You can't have 6200 rpm shiftpoints with a 5700 rpm rev limiter. From what I am told it is plug and play

    - HHP Stage 1 TCM - Must be flashed at the dealer upon install.

Does not raise shiftpoints so its useless

    - B&G - I believe they program TCM's but not sure if they can be done stand alone or in conjunction with their PCM flash. I also don't know if you can drop it in and go or do you need to go to the dealer.

Never heard of them programming a TCM

Mopar TCM shiftpoints are 6250 so you would probably need a Mopar PCM or a B&G flash with 6500 rev limiter. I don't know how high SC will raise the rev limiter

The thought is if you leave it in first and let it shift itself you get a little more rpm out of each gear. Maybe true maybe not I have always done it that way at the track

Some good stuff there.. So with the B&G PCM/MOPAR TCM combo, will the car go into limp mode at 6250?

There is a thread with the latest post on 6/14/07 stating the MOPAR TCM isn't available yet? Bearmandog currently has one?

If you still have the stock PCM put it in and change the tranny settings to paddle kick, and then put the B&G back in.

The reason you get a little more out of autostick is cause the PCM gives a little more timing and a little less Torque Management in Autostick.

Since you have an 05' RT, why not put a switch on to control fuse #17, this will turn off Torque Management completely (as well as ABS).

I have one on my 05' and love it.

    Just an idea.....................

HHP TCM STAGE 1 AND STAGE 2 will not make any improvements to your tcm over your superchips flash. As a fact tcm stage 1 will make it worse!!!

Yeah he was the test car for the Mopar Performace Package last year so he has been running it for quite sometime with the Mopar PCM and then 2-3 months ago he switched to the B&G flash and it still works fine

I took care of the ESP issue with the NO-ESP mod, now I am focusing on the shift lag between gears at WOT.
