    Oil in air intake

I was just changing my low beams and had to remove my cold air intake. When I took it off I noticed there was motor oil in the tube. Is that normal? There wasn't any on the throttle body side though....

    SRT8 ?

There is a baffle in the filler neck on the SRT8 intake, if oil is poured in quickly when refilling after an oil change it can run into the tube and then down into your CAI tube.

It's normal. When you nail the throttle the PVC valve shuts down. Crankcase pressure has to go somewhere so it comes out the breather vent which is the tube attached to the intake after the filter. In extreme cases where the blowby into the crankcase is high because of worn rings, even when the PVC is running it can't keep up so.....excess blowby goes out the tube as well.
