    Noticed a differences between 05-06 5.7L

    While my buddy was helping install my noesp fan mod, we noticed that my 2005 300C has sparkplug wires under the engine cover, whereas his 2006 Magnum R/T does not.

    Update: did some digging and found they changed the ignition from 05-06.
    Is 06 style that much better that I should consider upgrading?

    For the 05', all you need is some shorty plug wires, made by Taylor.

    I put them on mine, they come in a variety of colors, cost about $58.

    The HEMI Shop sells a conversion kit for the '05, to bring the spark plugs up to 06 stuff.

    Do you have a link? I don't see anything at thehemi.com which is what comes up when I google it.

    I thought that the shorties on the 05 showed a loss of HP in the mod face off?
