That had to be a great rush! I know that section of 405 and the slow curves and wide highway must have made for a fantastic run! Congrats on the thrill factor.

It was a blast... Cars were evenly spaced allowing me to just glide in and out ofhte corners picking whatever line I wanted.

Oh how I love my car Dirty Girl... And my girlfriend ain't bad either.

[QUOTE=v8440] Like I said, most bikes AROUND HERE run 11's or 10's. Nines occasionally, though pretty rarely. I have no doubt a hayabusa run's 9's. Hell, I've seen articles where they tested them and got 9's out of them. I also have no doubt you run 9's on yours. You have to understand, around here there aren't many really fast bikes.... /QUOTE]

A local guy will occasionally be at the dragstrip with his 'busa. Amazing little piece of machinery. He runs low 9's all day long, every now and then he'll bring the front wheel up at the traps. I don't ride a bike, but a 145mph wheelie must be quite a rush.

this is probably the hardest thing about racing on the street. when you see someone out launch you, your first instinct is to mash the pedal when thats probably the last thing you should do lol.

i had some kid talk major smack about my car. well, we went to a street to race. i got the lead out, but he started to reel past me cause i was pedaling it hard. even though he was a bit ahead of me i know id take him if i took it easy. sure enough, once i was at a speed to get traction, the foot went down, and i flew past him :D street tires suck! takes a bit of skill to overcome a loss of traction and win the race.

145 wheelie is fun enough. Clicking over 200 on the highway thats where the fun is at. I dont reccomend anyone try it because Im gonna end up scattered all over the place one day. You live once and Heaven is a place to realx so get your thrills early.
