    nitrous q's

    ok i am looking for a little pick me up if yall know what i mean. so i have a few questions.

    what else do i need to install a shot on the car (tuners, etc etc)? btw i do have a cai on the way
    what is a safe amount of spray with the hemi?
    what kind of gains will i recieve?
    what brand/ where should i buy it from?
    is it worth the money?

    please any help would be huge at this point...

    There is a huge amount of N20 information here.My suggestion to you is do a search and if you cant answer your questions there let us know..You will see install pics to prices etc etc,,

    sorry they are all srt8 threads. i am looking for more specific 5.7 hemi ingfo as it is a different motor

    Theres not much difference on the N20 between the 2 engines..Kits are the same, install is the same accesseries are the same..As a matter of fact most kits were with the 5.7 in mind and the SRT guys had to adapt...

    see thats info i didnt find. see i am just trying to learn now so i dont have a huge mistake later when i put a whole in a piston head. i have never dabbled with NO2 i have played with other forced inductions on my mustang that i had but never the giggly juice. and with this being a $39,000 chrysler 300c and not a $3000 fox body mustang with a disposable $1000 302 engine, i wanna make sure i am confident about the NO2 before i buy

    thats the one i just read... awesome info...most of my answers have been answered except for one question and that is the performance gain off of the 100 shot... meaning what is the average time difference in the good ol' 1320

    Well that really is depended on the driver, out side temp, DA,track conditions,bottle pressure etc etc,,Most cant run slicks or D/Rs right now due to 1/2 shaft breakage issues when using a power adder..My best on motor was a 12.98.Best on 100 shot was 12.23..These times were achieved on radials...Maybe start a thread asking the 5.7 guys to post there 1/4 miles times on the N20 to get a better idea...

    If you go with TNT Nitrous you will get at the rear wheels whatever shot you use. 100hp shot gets you 100 rear wheel HP!

    Really???No hp loss through the drive train??So it wouldnt really be a 100 shot.More like a 140-150 shot and then the hp loss through the drive train will bring you at a 100hp right??

    On a 5.7 with a 100 shot I dropped a full second.
    Here is my info on a NX nitrous system on the 5.7.
    Nitrous is plumbed and wired!
