    New Magnum RT wheels!

I made History on Saturday. First time in my life to ever step foot inside a Chrysler/Dodge dealership. Without the upcoming Magnum and 300 and Mercedes influence I would never, ever had a reason to go.

I picked up a copy of the Dodge Owners Magazine and they had a couple pics of this car with these new six spoke 18" wheels:

Those wheels are very reminescent of the Intrepid ES wheels (except with a 6 spoke design).

I have never been a big fan of "even" spoked wheels because of the odd placement of the spokes (check out certain Saturns and Nissan pickups wheels....eecchh!).

BUT... I admit, they are pretty nice looking in this application..

Hehe, I got my Dodge Owners Magazine last month, but didn't realize those were different wheels...Is it just me or does the first pict look a little funny or what? I think they photoshoped the new wheels on a photo they already had.

I think may have been the scan. My first thought was a bad photoshop too though.

I think the way the 5 spoke ones dish looks better. Then again it's hard to tell FROM a bad photochop. That rear picture above with the wheels doesn't look like a editied photo, maybe those are 17" aluminum for the SXT, while the dished 5 spoke I see all the other R/T's with are the 18's.

The rim style isn't that bad. I'm sure I will be getting aftermarket rims for it though.

I kinda like the 5 spoke wheel better than the 6 spoke. But when I see them in person, on the car, I'll probably forget all about that.

On the subject of wheels, the 300C in Europe has the "regular" Magnum RT wheels with a Chrysler center cap.

The 300C will be marketed with polished wheels in Europe because Europeans do not use Chrome wheels. Wheels must be TUV Certified and you can not get TUV with a chrome wheel because plating actually weakens the wheel.
