Need Advice On A CAI for My 05 Magnum RT

I've been looking a the K&N, S&B, AEM, and Volant CAIs. Are they all about the same? Is one better then the other?

IMO... If you buy new its just a waste of money. Performance wise, maybe 3-4 HP if your lucky. Throw a drop in K&N and remove the air silencer located underneath your air box. People are gonna recommend the "AIrHAMMER" by far the best performance gains but is expensive! Type in "MOFO" in the search area and all your questions should be answered.

    Stock catback, and stock drivetrain

from all the feedback I see here on the forums "AIR HAMMER"! I am gonna have to make this upgrade after my 300C front end conversion, then I would be lying to myself about no more mods...

Just about every CAI offer about the same amount of added performance (little if any), except for the AirHammer. It's not cheap, but you get what you're willing to pay for. It's been proved that it works. I had an Airaid and moved up to an AirHammer. It's well worth the money.

AIR HAMMER. You can go fast, you can go cheap, but it's really hard to go fast cheap.

    Get Hammered.

It's been proven to provide substantial gains, while most other intakes have had little impact.

Not to mention, it was designed and is sold by a member of the forums here (speakin' of which, where is Rev? Figured he woulda piped up by now.)

Built in the US of A with quality materials from what I hear, and it helps Rev Hammer bring home the bacon. Can't beat that.

I just got my Magnum in November, and this month, my mod will be a SuperChips flashpaq. Next month I should be able to get the order in on an AirHammer AWD. Can't wait!

The average gains for an AirHammer were 9.9 horse and 8.8 torque. Max was 14.5 and 14.1.

The AFE's average was 6.7 horse and 1.0 torque. Max was 10.6 and 7.3
