My R/T Magnum came down with the leaks...

Well I fell victim at 15,500 mi to the dreaded tranny leak. How many people have had this problem?

Many have had the same leak. Easy quick fix covered under the warranty. There's a TSB out on it.

lol. i think the list might be shorter if you asked how many have not had this issue.

yep, the TSB was released due to a warpage in the adapter housing. the o-ring cant seal if it cant seat properly.

Amazing that it still has not been fixed at the factory on 2007 model years. I wonder if they fixed it for 2008? I guess I'll be finding out.

if they replace the adapter bushing/plug and torque it properly, it should not leak again.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. TSB is a recall correct? Free fix? Or is just stating that it's something that sux and needs to be fixed.

Just not sure that Swampy would be eligible for a TSB if it's a free dealer fix

Recalls are free fixes. TSB's are only free if your car is still under warranty.

Thanks. Doubt I'd let anyone else touch it anyway but for a minute I thought "Oh, free tranny fluid check". Just a pain to do my fluid since the car is so low and I have to read the temp from the oil pan blah blah blah...And it's COLD!
