Is the Magnum r/t your "driver" or toy????

I bought my silver R/T two months ago and just love it. I have an '87 Grand National also, mint with 27k miles and tastefully modified that I take to cruises and just have fun with. The GN is a legitimate 11 second car, but I love the R/T so much I have been thinking of selling the GN and making the R/T my toy.

How many of you use your R/T for daily driver duties, and how many just use it as a toy???

How about a daily driven toy...?

Attitudes are contagious. Mine might kill you.

The great thing about this car is it's BOTH (for me) -- it's the impractical/practical car. Utility when you need it, fun when you want it.

    I love this car.

BOTH! A daily driver can be a toy too!

Try getting off the freeway after a really bad traffic session, it's your offramp to home. Downshift on down while the idiots in front and behind are riding their brakes all the way. Get to the stop, shift to 1st. ESP off, and at the first opportunity, blow off some steam!! Your daily MPG is already in the trash can from the traffic, so if you are lucky and have a frontage road like me, get sideways, have fun!! It's really funny when I park in the driveway, my daughter smeells the rubber and know exactly what I was just doing!!

I consider it perfect for Both!!

Just like it has been said, a daily driver and a toy, at least until Alfa returns in 2007 and then there will be a new toy.

The RT is my daily driver. The toy is a 2001 Camaro SS that runs mid 12s - it's more set up for road racing though.

Both for me. It's the only car I have but my husband has two older pickups and a 1952 MG for slow putting. I am hopelessly obsessed with this car. I have less than 500 miles on it. The ride to work and home are never long enough. It literally has been a life altering experience for both of us. Another midlife crisis averted.

Its my daily driver. Someday though I'd like to retire it and keep it as a toy. Or not. I enjoy driving it daily so whatever comes next has a helluva hard act to follow.

Definately both. While I intend to keep the car in the best shape I can, it is way too much fun to drive to leave it garaged. I can't wait to see how the AWD handles in the snow!

(It's also fun to drive a car that turns people's heads)
Inferno Red '05 Magnum RT AWD - Who says the AWD sits too high?!
