Looking for RT in California

A month ago there were several to choose FROM at various dealers around the but, after calling around today I wasn't able to find one that they didn't want to charge a mess over sticker for. Any Ca people seen a black, red, or blue one at a dealer in Ca ? What's the build time like now on ordering one ?

I cant believe that dealers wont axe the markup if you walk in and are serious. I wouldnt call, but getting in their face is the best way. Ive bought two magnums, and didnt pay a cent over MSRP here in CA. Foothill Ranch Dodge shows 3 in stock... two of which are black.

Thanks for the tip. I'll CHECK out the foothill ranch guys. BTW, Dodge inventory search is horrible. Have to go dealer by dealer and most don't have inventory unless they are 5 star guys.

I've been mainly dealing thru email where I am supposed to be getting the 'internet price' of just a few hundred over invoice but, they don't seem to want to do it on the RTs. Most were sticker price and only one over last month. Now I keep getting some line about only 22 shipped to CA last month and most already were sold. I don't belive anything car dealers tell me though. The few times I've called they always want over sticker of course.

Funny thing is even the guys that were going to sell to me at invoice lats month are now claiming they will only selll over sticker now. I find it hard to belive as California is all about gas milage these days and the RT aint it for avoiding the pumps.

edit: All the foothill black RTs have the blasted roof rack and people I've talked too say it can't be cleanly removed (anyone know for sure?) . The search continues..I should have bought last month =(

I live in Riverside. I called over 50 dealers in 70 mile radius of me. I found about 3-5 r/t's and mostly Vanilla or Black. West Covina has one, but it has a roof rack also. That is why I did not buy it and they also wanted 5k over. The roof rack is bolted to the car FROM what I hear.

I am going to wait a week and start my calling again.

Earnhardt in Phoenix lists quite a few RTs and 330Cs on their website.

Funny how it alll changed in one month here in Ca. I had a few lined up a month ago and now I'm actually HAVING to work at this. I called about 20 dealers last month and had 4-5 that were sticker price and close enough to what I wanted to buy. Now, there is zero under sticker and only one sorta close to what I'd actually buy. That one they stuck different tires on and are asking 4k over sticker. Geeze

From what I've been told bringing out of state cars INTO California is a serious pain.

I saw one on the lot at Glendora Dodge today. Black, no roof rack! \looks like they are desperate too!

They are not desperate. I wanted to buy it, and they want way to much over sticker epecially because they put 20's on it.

I GOT MINE FROM FOOTHILL DODGE JUNE 16 THEY ARE REALLY GOOD AND NOT ASKING TO MUCH IF ANY OVER STICKER!!!

ALSO CHECK A SMALL DEALER IN SIGNAL HILL DODGE WHICH IS LOCATED NEXT TO LONG BEACH

They were 7K over in June for a black RT. Managed to whittle it down to 5K over and gave up. Ended up buying a Cool Vanilla for less (but still paid over).

the dealership in signalhill is glen e thomas , they just ask sticker. i got mine at fullerton dodge for sticker. niel or jason is who you want to talk to there. but the r/t's are really hard to find.i ordered mine and it took 12 weeks, but it's just the way i wanted it.
