    Lfter Noise?

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a 300C with the 5.7 hemi. I have only had it for 2 months and only has about 3500km on it. The problem is that when I am sitting at idle I can hear a loud clicking sound as if one of the lifters is bad. The funny thing is it can only be heard inside the car and sounds like it is coming from the the floor of the right rear passenger area. Very wierd!

I've had lifter noise since shortly after buying my car. Sounds like at least 1 on one side and 1 on the other. It's not bad, just a little ticking. It used to drive me crazy at first and then I got used to it. I went to the dealer and was told that this was common in the new hemis and unless it was making loud noises, there was nothing they could do about it.

This has been covered several times in the past. Normal, nothing to get your knickers in a twist about.
