I'm one of those exceptionally fortunate ones that when I decided it was time to buy, there was my car almost exactly as I wanted it optioned and color, on a dealer's lot 50 miles away. I was browsing the local inventory on-line and found it. I was shocked when I learned that it was still available. I wasn't really expecting to buy one now and was not seriously shoppinng yet, but I was dreading HAVING to factory ORDER and wait for 6 months! So when this popped up out of nowhere, I pounced![]()
So far the only defect are some bad scratches on the Walnut part of the steering wheel which was pointed out to the dealer at purchase and which will be relplaced. The steerinng wheel is also very slightly off center to the right. So far NO SIGN OF THE RIGHT LEAD PROBLEM or any other gremlins :D
I paid MSRP minus a $1,000 rebate for financing (a very small amout) with MoPar, which will be paid off immediately. I consider that a great deal.
The car had about 55 test drive miles on it. I sure hope that it was not abused during those drives. I'll keep the forum posted on my experiences.
