    Installing DSS Axles?Read.......

Just did a set of DSS 5.7 axles.OMG it was the biggest PITA I have seen for an axle install. If you are planning this do yourself a favor and get a dial caliper and compare old vs new.I just spent half the afternoon polishing the sleeves of the new axles to match the old axles......why?.......because the new axles DID NOT FIT and my customer drove from 6 hrs away!Had the car apart and ready to go back together ....then....WTF?They wont go in.......not even a little.....I have done at least a dozen axle swaps......it's not that hard.....ah crap....get the caliper out and its probably a few thousandth different......enough to let the axle not go in.I am not saying they will all be like this.......but better to check before you make yourself insane.
