Specs like that might involve a removal of MDS... is that part of the puzzle?
The extra lift on the exhaust may be unnecessary, and/or better spent on the intake... as all of the flow-numbers i have seen reward lift on the intake much more than the exhaust...
Beyond that, I can't really comment too much on the "Ideal" cam, as a lot of it depends on *other* pieces: Valvesprings, heads, intake...
Are you putting ported heads on? Long tubes? 6.1 Manifold?

I like it..........BUT, on what ramps would you be grinding it on?
As you well know, we'd be happy to take care of this for you.

Our good friend Tony, above, tested one of the first Cranes on his otherwise stock 5.7 motors. Between Crane and the installers, they made Tony's life hell as the rest of us watched in fear!
Needless to say.........Tony is a champ!
He prevailed and was one of the first TRUE pioneers by changing cams and such before it became common place.
Now, Crane has these beauties coming out.................we have very high expectations.
(BTW..........I have NOT recieved yours in yet. If you have any tracking info it would be great. Please also PM me your POC so I can keep in touch.)
TONY................
I feel like an a-hole saying this BUT............its business. I can't give you all the specs and have you spread our hard work. I WILL DO THIS HOWEVER!
With your permission and agreement, I'll release one of our new cams to you..........I rather not discuss the numbers right now, but if you agree, we'll sell it to you at COST.
This is no off the shelf cam............this is a TRUE custom job and should be the new badarse cam every one will be "talking about".
This is no sales-job................I'll give it to you at pure cost if you will let everyone know your thoughts and impressions. If you are not satisfied, I'll buy it back @ 100% refund.
If you do like it, Steve and I get BEANS and you talk smack about how we rock and everyone else sucks.![]()
Thoughts?
If your Sig is what you are getting:

The 216 cam should be in the ballpark of Comp Cams 268.
The Crane has a little more lift and a bit more exhaust duration... Don't know about the overlap, but it is probably similar...
You will probably need that B&G to keep the idle, but it should run like a bat outta hell!
