how long before someone put a viper motor ?

so when do you think someone is going to shoe horn in a viper motor into the magnum/300c/charger?

i was standing around in the showroom today, waiting for the financing lady to call me in....they have to srt-10 ram on the floor. i still have a fresh memory of the thread about someone putting the hemi into a pt cruiser.....so i just started thinking....wouldn't that be a logical next step?

We've had one or two people talk about it... one guy said he was all lined up to buy one but got a DUI on the Friday before he was supposed to pick it up... I haven't heard anything new about it since then. I agree that a Magnum with the Viper engine would be amazing...

I found a totalled viper on ebay not long ago in which the engine was stil in tact.
It was too dang expensive to pounce on. Espacially not having any confidence in the motor's shape or anyone around here who could swap it out.
If I ever did this, I'd buy a totaled SXT and drop it in that... as well as cut the top off of it as I kinda need a truck.
I doubt that'll happen though. I have my eye on a new SS camaro.
