Not one to drive fast, but the other day I decided to wake up my engine with a heavy right foot. WOW, after I quickly realize that this is a very fast car, I let off the throttle only to find the engine still pulling hard, like you would feel as if the peddle was stuck on the mat or something, While designing a new style of underwear, I step on and off the brakes with no luck...holy ship...Before putting the tranny in "n" , I step on the brakes one last time,,,,, then ,,, throttle "unsticks" itself, leaving me thankful that this is not my regular driving habit.....SO, What gives,? what can cause the throttle to do such a thing?....Would like to nail this problem down before my next trip to the track ....Thanks in advance Nick

Don't you have a turbo???. If you have FI, "auto drive" is common.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.
The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

Running a s.c..This is what my cmr tuner was thinking too, just wanna make sure there was nothing else that could be causing this..
Sounds like you need a tune adjustment, like others have said. Sounds fixable.

Yes it is in the tune, very common in CMR tunes for FI, likely related to ETC parameters.

I'm scared to speak too soon but after my tune was tweaked I have'nt had it happen since. After having some skivvy changing episodes and having to grab the key to shut it down I would prefer it never happen again.Me and the good Lord have a renewed relationship

Well finally gonna go to l.v.d for some runs...I'll try the up shift thing if my throttle gets stuck again...I wonder if any of this throttle problem is mentioned in the instructions from s.c. companys, or is this a problem with just the freak hp. cars.....
