    Head swap question?

    I remember reading something somewhere that the 5.7 and the 6.1 heads are almost identical. Was wondering if this was true or not? If it is has anyone done the mod? And is it worth it. Fnky you might be able to help on this one. Sorry if it is a repost or a dumb question. Just wondering cause im looking at a 07 RT magnum just wondering its possible to change them out.

    they will bolt on, but without chamber work, or piston changes, you'll have a compression over 11:1. not very streetable without major tuning.

    Will the 5.7 intake manifold fit on 6.1 heads?

    not without a bunch of RTV or a spacer made for it..

    just to put it on it will leak and leak alot around the runners..

    i have tried.. lol
