    front suspension pop

i searched this topic and got alot of bits and pieces, wanted to bring the subject up front again. Does anyone get a pop noise from there front supension when turning an having decent suspension travel? Any fixes, i lowered my magnum and i'm worried maybe this is from the install job and not DC.

Oh yea why is everyone calling it DiamlerChrysler? Its common knowledge its pronounced Diamler, becuase the chrysler is silent......sorry had to say it, old joke from my dad that worked for chrysler for 20 years and experienced the buy out..i mean merger lol

I had a "pop" noise after I installed the lowering springs myself. It came from the driver side front suspension, and would pop once in either direction. If I popped taking a left turn, it wouldn't pop again until I took a right turn, and vice versa. Anyway, before going to the dealer with my tail between my legs, I untorqued and retorqued everything that was done with the original install, and the noise went away and hasn't come back since. Something must have been under or overtorqued. I suggest you do the same!

It's not an issue with aftermarket items. This 'pop' happens to me as well and my car is stock. I notice it when I'm pulling out of a parking space and turn the wheel sharply to either side. It also feels like the wheel is going to fall off when it happens as well. Scary.

Oh, btw.. It's Daimler, not Diamler. :D

I have a stock RT with about 5500 miles so far, and recently noticed the front suspension popping occasionally. I can actually feel it in the floor when it happens. Some times it's during a left turn, some times right; dosen't do it regularly so I haven't figured out what causes it yet other than it only seems to happen at low speed like in a parking lot. It's definately not the dash popping some other people have reported.

I'll pay attention to see if it's when there's more suspension travel.

Maybe we have something here that is aggravated by over/under torquing one of the suspension bolts, which would explain why installing aftermarket springs could trigger it. Do I smell a TSB?
