Finally....I thought I'd never get this car.....

I finally was able to pick up my R/T last night. I managed to put 54 miles on it last night to get a good jump on the break in process. Obviously I haven't had the opportunity to figure out much or really test it but I really like it so far. I've already been stopped numerous times to ask what the heck it was. Then there were those few that came running..." I've seen the commercial for these...I want one so bad..." and believe it or not 2 of them were women and both asked "did you get the Hemi". Somebody better snatch those 2 up quick! But anyway....so far I love it and I haven't been able to really get on it or push the handling limits. Only 2 complaints....first...I'm noticing the right pull that the 300 owners noticed. I tried it out a few different times on various roads and conditions and it was there in all situations. Not bad but noticeable, makes me wonder if it will wear the tires funny though. Second complaint...there was a pretty bad scratch on the hood in front of the wipers...very weird spot. The Dealer will be fixing that next week when he installs the LoJack. But anyway...back to work..I've already wasted enough time reading books and stuff...and I haven't even got to the navigation get!

Could the shape of the road be what is causing a pull to the right, cause most roads are in the shape of a hump so water runs to the side.......Ive noticed that my 300M pulls a little on roads but in the smooth Super Walmart Parking lot it tracks straight every time.

I'm testing this as I go...I added another 50 miles today but only had the opportunity to test a few times. On a divided 4 lane per side highway, I moved all the way to the left lane. At this point it visibly slopes to the left or center strip of the road. At this point the car tracked straighter...problem is that it should have moved to the left. I've driven this road many times and in other cars it normally does. Another time on a 2 lane road I moved onto the other side of the road( INTO oncoming traffic if there was any...but there wasn't) and it still drifted right, although only VERY slightly. I would think being on the left hand side of this road it would have normally pulled the car left. I'll keep my eye on it and test it in other situations but I'm still leaning towards a slight right side pull.

Personally I like a car that leans to the right a bit, sort of like me! Actually if I were a car I would wear out tires pretty quick and be pretty annoying I lean to the right so much. Then again, most would say I got that annoying part right! Eh, Boston?

Seriously I do hope they can adjust it for you. I do think it might potentially be a road problem though. Some cars are just more sensitive to the road. My old Dakota R/T was horrible with ruts. They are pretty light weight, have wide tires, and a different width then almost anything else out there. It really wanted to walk around in the ruts of asphalt that my Ram doesn't even know are there. I'd try to drive it on a really level smooth chunk of road and see if it still pulls. If it doesn't then maybe they can add some caster to the wheels to make them want to self center more. That may hurt overall handling though, but it might make it more enjoyable to drive day to day.

I have noticed a VERY minor pull to the right as well....... I have almost 600 miles on mine after 6 days!
At this time, I'm unwilling to part with my car for the dealer to take a look at it <VBG>!

Maybe in a month or so!

The Magnum R/T that I test drove pulled pretty good to the right. I pointed it out to the sales guy. He thought someone got crazy on another drive & messed up the alignment.

    Alignment

I have just the opposite issue with my R/T. The wheel is cocked to the right a bit on all roads and if I straighten it out the car goes left. They must have a probelm in teh alignment section of the asembly line.
