    Delivery status :?

Yesterday, I contacted DC customer service regarding the status of my black RT. They told me it went INTO production on September 9, and should be enroute to the dealership around the 16th. Last night, the folks at bramptonassembly.com told me they haven't seen it yet, so...considering they are the ones building it and have first hand information, my amazing powers of deduction tell me this car hasn't been put INTO production as of yesterday evening. :? Is the information available to the customer service agent just an estimate? Also, once the car leaves the plant, how long would it take to arrive at a dealership in southern Alberta? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

I am thinking the DC rep read it wrong. I think (and it is just my opinion) that your car will be shipped by the 16th. Most of these cars are being shipped the same day they are built and certified. That would mean that your car would start down the assembly line late today or early tomorrow. Takes about 24 hours to build. Brampton assembly employees won't see it in their computer until it hits the frame shop.

As far as shipping goes. I was told that mine would take 14 days to arrive at the dealer. It only took about 10. I believe west coast people are being told 21 days but some are getting them much faster than that. Not sure about Canada.

What number are you calling for DC Customer Service in Canada? I tried calling Customer Service last week and was given a simple "Talk to your dealer - they will know more than us".

Thanks for the reply, MagnumFreak. It would be great to get it by the end of the month.

RTMagnum, I used 1-800-992-1997 during business hours. Input sequence 1, 2, 5, 2, 3... your phone number, then 1. A customer service rep should be able to help you out.
