dash vents

Ok, on my 2007 Magnum, the dang vents at he sides of the dash top (the ones that blow onto the door windows). Mine have both broken loose (mount tabs snapped). Is it worth buying replacement factory pieces or are they just as likely to break. I am considering simply putting them back in place with trim mounting tape.

They aren't very expensive, and mine lasted 6 years before the drivers side broke and was replaced with a new one. Now my right one is giving away- back to the dealer to buy a new one (they aren't any better, just new).
