Cucamonga Red RT has new Shoes! And loving it!

The shoes are on, and here are the pictures and info. I am one happy RT owner Dudes. 8)

Stock wheels and tire 53 pounds
New wheels and tires 81 pounds.

    20 x 9 wheels.

275/45-20. Be prepared for a lot of pain if you try this at home. My tire guy and I will need to spend quality time together, yes we were that intimate in getting this size tire to fit Dudes.

    Before pics
    Fromt

    Rear.

    After Pics:

No noticeable difference on acceleration. Wheel baance either sucks or the tire is so wide it's picking up every pebble on the road. Will be going back for re-balancing.

So let me have it with both barrels. Any comment about the wheels, the tires, and getting intimate with the tire guy?

Remember guys, as far as my wife is concern, they are cheaper than cheap right?

G2V, by the sit of the pants you cannot tell a difference in accelleration. As Big Daddy will also attest to, you really can't tell.

There are other issues with the wider tires and shorter sidewalls. But no pain no gain right?

    1. we're gonna need some bigger brakes..
    2. what is a ballpark for a setup like this? obviously not your nearly free wife price, but if, say, someone like me wanted to get a set like this.. no wives involved, and all..

Bob W, the wheels came FROM a shop in Rancho cucamonga California. Perez Wheels and Tires on Archibald Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga California. Ask for Bernardo 8) real cool guy.

wheel info can be found on line at www.motivwheels.com I think or do search for Motiv wheels. Bunch of dealers on line.

G2V, and Greeneye, you have to drive it to believe me, no difference. Now on the race track there might be a difference.

That bolt above the tires in the front is a bitch. The darn thing was not going to cooperate! What a love fest we had today between me, the bolt, and the tire man.

Yes Unholy, remember they are practically FREE.

Some guy (not me of course) told me a set up like mine on line is $2350, but since I am now the tire guy's bitch, I paid I mean he paid a hair over $2k.

I have to tell you... your car always looks very clean. Do you ever drive it... or is it tucked away in you garage? My car always looks like its been driven down a dusty road.... but it looks tight hella low huh.
