Confused about DTCs and MILs.

Superchips has a provision for checking and clearing DTCs. I had one and cleared it. I still have a MIL. Not for the first time; probably for the 5th or 6th time since it was new. They usually clear up in a day or two. This one popped up yesterday on the way to work. It's the first one in almost a year. I'm slightly concerned about it because of the cam and heads that were installed last weekend. The car still run the same, so I guess it's OK. Any thoughts?

Something about losing comms with the pass side restraint sys.

the MIL may be from your new 180 thermostat. clear it and forget about it.

How do I do that? Superchips only told me what it was. If they show the number, I don't know how to view it. I cleared it, checked it again, and it was gone. Still getting the MIL. I never could get the thing with the ignition switch to work.

other than SC or the key dance method, you 'll need a starscan.

SC shows nothing now since I cleared. Would HAL have thrown a MIL for lack of pass restraint comms? How do I do the key dance method?

I still have the Mil (CEL) in the instrument panel, but SC shows nothing now.

OK, I found how to check coeds, I mean codes, with the key; ON, ACC, ON, ACC, AND ON (WITHIN 3 SECS). I got code P 0128. I looked at Damage's list and it didn't show up there. Could my 180 degree thermostat be doing it? I cleared it by pulling fuse 11 for 30 secs.
